One of Britain’s most iconic and unpredictable music stars is heading to Bridgwater this Halloween.
Happy Mondays and Black Grape frontman, Shaun Ryder, will appear at Bridgwater Arts Centre on Saturday 31 October at 7.30pm as part of his latest spoken word tour.
Known for redefining the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle during the golden era of Madchester, Shaun has enjoyed an extraordinary career spanning music, television and publishing. From chart-topping success with Happy Mondays and Black Grape to becoming a much-loved television personality through appearances on programmes including Celebrity Gogglebox and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Shaun remains one of the UK’s most distinctive and entertaining cultural figures.
The tour supports his latest book, Happy Mondays – and Fridays and Saturdays and Sundays and promises audiences an unforgettable evening packed with outrageous anecdotes, behind-the-scenes stories, wild adventures and Shaun’s trademark wit and honesty.
Whether you’re a lifelong Happy Mondays fan or simply curious to hear first-hand tales from one of British music’s most colourful characters, this promises to be an evening full of laughter, nostalgia and plenty of surprises.
