Bridgwater Arts Centre is seeking an artist or artist collective to create a bespoke mural for the front of the theatre balcony as part of our 80th anniversary celebrations.
We’re looking for a bold and inspiring design that celebrates the Arts Centre’s rich history, its role at the heart of the community, and its future as a hub for creativity, performance and cultural life. The commissioned artwork will become a lasting legacy piece, unveiled during our anniversary celebrations.
Commission Details

Artist fee: £1,500 plus agreed materials costs
Submission deadline: 17 August 2026
Artist selected: 21 August 2026
Installation: From 21 September 2026 (ideally completed in 2 days)
