Lino Printing Workshop With Harriet Popham

This 3.5 hour workshop is suitable for beginners and those with previous lino printing experience.

You will be working with soft carve lino and fast drying ink pads which means you can work in several colours and experiment with layering elements.

These images are all examples of work created during this workshop.

Harriet will demonstrate and guide you through creating mini prints that we’ll print on A5 card. Puzzle piece printing with multiple colours, and layering up individual hand carved stamps. You’ll have 3 pieces of 10 × 15cm lino to work with, so lots of options.

No previous experience required and you do not need to be confident with drawing. Harriet will provide examples and templates that you are welcome to use. You might like to bring a photograph / sketch / some ideas with you (The lino pieces are 10 x 15 cm / Roughly 1/4 of an A4 page) However this is not essential, Harriet can help you plan your design and will bring lots of things to inspire you

Please note this workshop will take place in the first floor studio which is accessed via stairs.
