Bridgwater Library presents – Local Author Talk with SJ Richards and Brian Price

Celebrate National Crime Reading Month 2026 and join SJ Richards and Brian Price in conversation at Bridgwater Arts Centre. The event has been organised by Bridgwater Library as part of their monthly Local Author Talk Series.

SJ Richards has published eleven crime thrillers featuring ex-DCI Luke Sackville, with the twelfth due for publication in September 2026. Steve introduced his series to an appreciative audience at Bridgwater Library this time last year, so we were keen to invite him back, this time to interview his partner-in-crime-writing, Brian Price.

As well as now being an author in his own right, Brian, who has a background in science, is also advisor on crime science for crime writers and has advised a number of leading authors on scientific aspects of crime. Several of his short stories have appeared in various anthologies and he is also author of the DC Mel Cotton police thriller series, with Fatal Trap, the seventh in the series, due to be published this Autumn.
