Molly’s First Festival Exhibition Launch Party – Silent Disco and Festival Crafts

A free/pay what you can family-friendly launch party for Molly’s First Festival: The Exhibition – with artwork from the crowdfunded children’s book all about the family festival experience, featured on CBeebies at Glastonbury.

There will be original artwork from the book on display, as well as a silent disco and festival-themed kids crafts.

This special afternoon event brings together art, music, and hands‑on creativity to capture the joyful spirit of festival culture.

Alongside a Silent Disco, visitors of all ages are invited to take part in a series of drop‑in craft activities, designed to immerse everyone in the playful, colourful world of festival making.

Whether you stop by for a few minutes or settle in to craft for longer, you’re welcome to create something of your own.

Craft Stations Include:

Flower Crown Making – Craft a flower crown inspired by festival style.
Festival Flag Design – Create a personalised flag using collage, colour, and pattern.
Make‑Your‑Own Musical Instruments – Build simple instruments from card and recycled materials.
Origami Festival Tents – Fold and decorate your own miniature paper tent.

Headsets for silent disco and all craft materials are provided. Author and Illustrator Katherine O’ Shea will be available throughout to offer demonstrations and support.
