Art from HMP Shepton Mallet

Thurs 7 June - Thurs 21 June

The work on show has been produced by inmates of HMP Shepton Mallett and reflects the ways in which they draw on inspiration from the wider world, the world of imagination and memories of family and friends. Paintings, sculpture, tapestry, willow making and digital imagery show talents that for some have not before been nurtured. The development of creative skills can make their time in prison helpful to their future prospects on release.
