COMMON GROUND Well known local landscape painter artist Jenny Graham and Hampshire based Wayne Jefferson share common ground in this joint exhibition. Jenny studied in New York and Bristol and gained an MA in Printmaking at UWE in 1997.. New work included in this exhibition gives us her unique response to the landscape around her home on the Somerset Levels and along the North Somerset coast. A series of modern, expressive landscapes that convey love of the countryside with rich, vibrant colours these paintings capture some fragment the response of these artists to the buildings and landscape of their particular locality. |
