Bridgwater Arts Centre
increasingly engages in projects outside of the Centre itself, ranging from
organising artists' residencies in local school, participating in community
festivals, arranging summer activities for families and much, much more.
Recent high-profile outreach projects have included:
Rangoli in Ramscombe during September 2004; Art in The Park free
children's art workshops funded by Somerset Children's Fund during August
2005; the Arts Centre cafe at Glastonbury Festival in June 2005;
Setting Bridgwater Alight community celebrations surrounding the
lighting of the Town Centre's Christmas Lights in November 2005.
